What to expect when you visit us

By consulting our office, you have taken an exciting step towards Better Spine Health. Reliable Spine care is different. It is this difference that offers new ways to get well and stay well. We have helped a wide variety of people with long standing back pain due to disc injuries, scoliosis and posture problems. So, the first thing we offer is hope. You will receive plenty of that here. We have prepared the information below, so you know what to expect on your first visit to our office.

First visit (60 – 90 minutes)

Prior to your first visit to the clinic, you'll be required to complete an online form. We recommend filling out this form thoroughly, as each question is important and will help us tailor the consultation to your case. The consultation will include detailed case history, examination of relevant body systems, comprehensive spine examination, specialised orthopaedic and neurological tests related to your case and digital posture analysis.

Second visit: Report of findings (30 minutes)

Your follow-up appointment will last approximately 30 minutes. We'll analyse the results of the physical exam and give you a complete report of our findings. We'll show you what we found and the conclusions we've reached. If you're a good candidate for Reliable Spine care and we think we can help, we'll discuss an appropriate plan of care that suits you best and your health goals. Please NOTE, we do not offer quick fixes, but we focus our attention on long term solution, for lasting results.

Some patients experience almost instant relief. Others discover that the healing process can take months, some even years. Every patient recovers at their own pace. Factors which can affect the healing process include your age, your overall health condition, muscle tone, diet and even your attitude.

It depends upon your complaint and how long it may take to analyse your examination findings. This is a clinical decision and varies from patient to patient.

X-rays and other types of images can be helpful. Pictures of your spine, especially after trauma, can confirm our other findings and make your care more personal. We will advise if we need any x-rays after completing our other examinations.
